Fari Tehrani, Assistant Vice President/North Region Manager at 1st National Bank of South Florida recently celebrated her 15th year of service with the Bank. She serves as the Branch Manager of the Bank’s Princeton Office at 25151 South Dixie Highway and is also responsible for administration of the Bank’s offices in Palmetto Bay at 9730 East Fern Street and Kendall at 7330 SW 152 Avenue.
Tehrani joined 1st National Bank as a part-time teller fifteen years ago in 1991, with seven years of previous experience as a banker in Miami and in Austria. She became a full-time teller in 1995 and was subsequently promoted to senior teller, then to head teller at the Palmetto Bay Office. She was promoted, again, in 1998, to Assistant Branch Manager of the Princeton Office. Tehrani was promoted again in 2000 when she became an officer and assumed the responsibilities as Branch Manager of the Princeton Office. Tehrani was most recently promoted in July of 2006 to her current position of Assistant Vice President/North Region Manager.
Tehrani attended the University of Vienna, Austria, and Miami Dade College. She completed the Florida Bankers Association Supervisors Academy in 2003. She recently completed the third and final year of study and graduated from the Florida Bankers Association’s Florida School of Banking at the University of Florida. Tehrani lives in South Dade with her husband, Behnam, and their daughter Jasmine.
1st National Bank of South Florida was established in Homestead in 1932, and now serves the Miami-Dade community with offices in Homestead, Princeton, Palmetto Bay, and Kendall with the Bank still maintaining local ownership. This year 1st National Bank of South Florida is celebrating 75 years of service to the community.
