New Advisory Board Members

Sharon Du Mond

Sharon Du Mond is the President of the Monkey Jungle, one of the oldest tourist attractions in South Florida. She is responsible for the overall management of the Monkey Jungle, as well as the marketing, business development, and research. The Monkey Jungle is in the Du Mond family’s 3rd generation of ownership.

In addition, Ms. Du Mond is the Founding Director of the Du Mond Conservancy for Primates & Tropical Forests, Inc., a non-profit conservation and research organization that strives to improve the welfare of non-human primate populations.

She is a past President of the Florida Attractions Association, the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau (Past Board Member and Economic Development Administration Executive Committee) and the Tropical Everglades Visitor Association. She is also an active member of the Greater Homestead/Florida City Chamber of Commerce.


Carolann Swanson

Carolann Swanson is a partner in the law firm of Santos Stokes, LLP with offices in Miami and San Antonio. Mrs. Swanson’s practice includes complex commercial litigation, agricultural trade, business and real estate.  She was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1991 and is the former chair of the Agricultural Law Committee of The Florida Bar. She is a board member of the Rotary Club of Homestead and the South Dade Red Cross Ball committee and is the chair of the Dade County Farm Bureau Women’s Committee.  Carolann and her husband Stewart live in Homestead with their daughters Charlotte and Gracie.



Angela L. DelliVeneri

Angela L. DelliVeneri was born and raised in Florida but spent the summer months with her father and family, farming in upstate New York. Today she continues the farming tradition along with her sister as partners in LaRocco Farms Inc., specializing in row crop green beans and grape tomatoes.  Angela also sits on the board of the Dade County Farm Bureau.  Angela has a daughter attending college in Orlando and a son who is a senior in high school.




Donna Ingram

Originally from Georgia, Donna Ingram moved to Homestead with her parents, Calvin and Tommie Chalker. Mr. Chalker ran Calvin Chalker Paving Company in Homestead.  In 1973, Donna married William B. Ingram of Doug Ingram & Sons Nursery.

She has three children and while raising her children, she volunteered much of her time to her children and their school’s functions and activities.  She has one son currently serving in the Army in Kuwait. Donna has also served on many community advisory boards as well as donating her time to numerous charities. Her favorite charities are the Humane Society and the Muscular Dystrophy Association. She has been a member of Delta Mu sorority for 25 years. Donna also spends time in Atlanta, visiting and caring for her new grandson and her mother and also doing volunteer work there as well.  Donna has been a resident of Homestead for over 50 years
