Idania Kestel recently celebrated her 25th anniversary of employment with the Bank. Kestel was hired in January 1984 as an Installment Loan Processor. She was promoted to Certificate of Deposit Clerk in 1985, but found her way back to Lending when she was promoted to Commercial Loan Processor in 1986. In 1987, she was promoted to Administrative Assistant in the Commercial Loan Dept, and in 1989, she became Assistant Vice President in Loan Administration. In 1996, she also took on the responsibilities of Commercial Credit Analysis. Ms. Kestel was promoted to Assistant Vice President/Consumer and Mortgage Lender in 1999, and in 2005, became a Vice President in the Lending Department. She is currently Vice President/Loan Portfolio Manager.

In addition to her duties at the Bank, Ms. Kestel is an active participant in the annual American Cancer Society Homestead Relay for Life and also serves as a Director and Treasurer on the Dade County Agricouncil.

Ms. Kestel lives in Miami and has 3 children and one grandchild.
