Dawna de Leon Celebrates 20 Years at 1st National Bank of South Florida!

Dawna de Leon recently celebrated her 20th anniversary of employment at 1st National Bank of South Florida. Ms. de Leon began her banking career as a part time bookkeeping clerk. Six years later, after learning every function in the Bookkeeping Department, she was moved to the Accounting Department as an accounting clerk. In 1998, she was promoted to Administrative Assistant, and in 1999, she was promoted to Assistant Cashier. Due to her continuous hard work and dedication, she was promoted in 2004 to the position of Assistant Vice President and, yet again, in 2006 to her current position of Vice President & Comptroller.

A graduate of South Dade Senior High, she went on to receive her BA in Accounting from the College of Business Administration at Florida International University in 1999. Deciding to further her education, she received her MBA with a concentration in Accounting from Saint Leo University in 2006.

Ms. de Leon currently resides in Homestead with her husband and two children.
