Carmen Sanchez celebrates 10 years at 1st National Bank of South Florida!

Carmen Sanchez, Assistant Vice President/Branch Operations Officer of the Palmetto Bay branch, recently celebrated her 10th year anniversary as an employee of 1st National Bank of South Florida.

Sanchez joined 1st National as a Call Center Representative in 2000. She was promoted to Call Center Supervisor in 2004. In 2005, she was made Assistant Branch Manager of the Kendale Lakes Branch. She was then promoted, in 2006, to her current position. Sanchez is a graduate of Miami Southridge High School. She attended Miami Dade College, and graduated from the Florida School of Banking in 2009.

She lives in South Dade with her husband Roberto, her daughter Marcela, and her son Roberto Jr., and is a volunteer for the American Cancer Society and the Children’s Home Society.

Margaret McAlister celebrates 10 years at 1st National Bank of South Florida!

Margaret McAlister, Assistant Vice President/Human Resources Manager, recently celebrated her 10th year anniversary as an employee of 1st National Bank of South Florida.

McAlister joined 1st National as a Human Resources Administrator in 2000. She was promoted to her current position in 2006. McAlister is a graduate of Lenoir-Rhyne College in Hickory, NC. She earned her Professional Human Resources Certification in 2005.

She has lived in south Florida for 26 years, in Homestead since 2004. She is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management, volunteers as a mentor for Homestead Job Corps, and serves on its Industry Advisory Council. McAlister is a marathon coach for Team in Training who fund raises for the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society. She is an associate member of the GFWC Woman’s Club of Homestead and is a member of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Miami.
